Terms of service

These Terms apply when you use onyxopal.shop or buy from us. “We”, “us” and “our” mean Onyx Opal.

By using our site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to our Shipping, Refund and Privacy Policies. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. Who can buy

You must be 18 or over to place an order. Please give us accurate contact, delivery and payment details, and keep your account login secure.

2. Our pieces

We make every effort to show our pieces accurately, but colours may look slightly different on your screen. If an item arrives not as described, our Refund Policy explains what we’ll do.

3. Orders

After you place an order, we’ll email you to confirm we’ve received it. If we can’t fulfil your order, for example because a piece has sold out at our supplier, we’ll let you know and refund you in full.

You can cancel or return your order as explained in our Refund Policy. Our pieces are sold for personal use, not for resale.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in euros. The price you see at checkout is the full price of your order, including delivery where it applies. If you’re ever asked to pay a customs or import charge on delivery, our Shipping Policy explains what we’ll do.

If a price on our site is clearly wrong, we’ll contact you before your order ships. You can then continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

5. Delivery

Each product page shows an estimated delivery time. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Your order remains our responsibility until it’s delivered to you, and if it’s lost or seriously delayed, our Shipping Policy explains what we’ll do.

6. Content and trademarks

The Onyx Opal name, logo, text and design of this site belong to Onyx Opal. Other content belongs to its respective owners. You’re welcome to use the site to shop, but please don’t copy or reuse its content commercially without our written permission.

7. Reviews and feedback

If you leave a review or send us feedback, you allow us to show it on our site and in our marketing. We may remove reviews that are unlawful or offensive.

8. Shopify and other websites

Our store runs on Shopify, but your purchase is a contract between you and Onyx Opal. Any links to other websites are there for convenience; we’re not responsible for their content.

9. Our responsibility to you

If we break these Terms, we’re responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that. We’re not responsible for loss that wasn’t foreseeable, or for business losses, as our pieces are for personal use. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, including your rights if an item is faulty or not as described.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one on our site when you placed it. If any part of these Terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Irish law. This doesn’t take away any protection you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, or your right to bring a claim in your local courts.
